Warning:  80’s Fashion is Making a Comeback

Is it me or are 80s fashions coming back?  It's about the right time for it as retro 80s stuff is just starting to be cool now.

Retro usually only goes back about 25 years, mainly because retro stuff is only cool to those who weren't alive the first time around.  In the early 1980s, retro was the 50s (Preppy).  We rejected the slovenly and sloppy 70s styles and music.  Disco was declared dead, clothes were neat and colorful, and music was techno and precise (no ad libbing allowed!).  Women's pants covered their belly buttons.
Healthy Hair 101
First and foremost, it is important that you understand how your hair grows to determine how to keep it healthy.  Your hair ultimately reflects the overall condition of your body.  If your body is healthy and well nourished, your hair will be your shining glory.   If you are having any health problems or suffering from any nutritional deficiencies, your hair may stop growing or show damage.  If your body is in good health, you can maximize your genetic growth cycle through taking the proper blend of amino acids, vitamins and eating enriching foods.
It is important to include B-6, biotin, Inositol and folic acid in your supplemental program.  It has been found that certain minerals including magnesium, sulfur, silica and zinc are also very important toward maintaining healthy hair.
Beta-carotene is also essential to hair growth.  This is because it is converted to vitamin A as the body needs it, helps maintain normal growth and bone development, protective sheathing around nerve fibers, as well as promoting healthy skin, hair and nails.  Beta-carotene is found in green and yellow vegetables and fruits, apples, bananas, pears, peppers, spinach and leafy greens are good sources of Beta-carotene.

Keeping Your Pearlys White: Teeth Whitners, Real or Myth?

I quote the word "Teeth Whitening" because not all “teeth whitening” products actually whiten your teeth! Yes, they are all marketed as teeth whiteners, but not all of them are, in fact many are just gimmicks that range in price any where from $10 to $1000! The fact is that some teeth whitening products do actually work! The problems is cutting through the hype to find out which ones are real and work, which ones are real and kinda work, and which ones are just overpriced gimmicks!
About a year ago I starting seeing ads for all the new teeth whitening methods in the fashion magazines and on TV.   Teeth whiting options were everywhere from my dentist’s office to CVS pharmacy and even the local dollar store.  I tried them all.  I wish that there was a way that I could have cut through the hype, and just purchased the one that actually delivers results. All in all, I think it was worth it, as I now know first hand what WORKS and what DOESN'T, and if you're like me, you wouldn't mind trying a few different products to find that one product that can dramatically enhance your smile, confidence, and overall appearance.
I honestly never thought that increasing the brightness of my smile a few shades would make much of difference in my overall look, but now I can't imagine going a day without my favorite teeth whitening product. Of corse, I never had a terrible smile, just some very slight discoloration, but nothing major. I’ve always gotten compliments on my toothy smile but they have almost tripled since my new found “love product.”  So, here are my honest teeth whitening reviews:
