Who am I?
I’m the pitch hitter, the go-getter and the mood lifter.
I’m the go to, the follow through, the one in whom you confide the truth.
I’m your “ride-or-die,” the one to tell your lies, hit a bitch in the eye for you chick.
I’m your constant, your conscious, your hold you down while you’re on lock, Ms.
I’m your pray til it works, cry til it hurts, invisible nobody with no perks.

Who am I?....Stupid.

Unapologetically Me
Call me foolish, call me as stupid as a poor kid with an unrealistic wish list.
I really don’t care what people say.  It’s not that I’m committed to being this way; blind, begrudged and starved for love.  I just don’t know how not to be.  How do I make me stop being me?  How do I apologize for loving unconditionally?
Not just him, but everybody.  How do I atone for something that I didn’t know was wrong?  You see the makings of me, however flawed they may be, I can’t change so easily, nor do I think I’d want to actually.  If I had the chance to be anyone else, I am exactly who I’d pick to be, I’d just change the people around me.

So call me ridiculous or brainless or whatever you make me out to be and I’ll remain still unapologetically me!
