About The 9s Magazine

The 9s is coined after the phrase "dressed to the nines," which was started in 18th Century England, when referencing women's gloves that went up to the elbows which they wore  when they went to gala events such as balls and teas at the palace and had to dress exceptionally well.  Those gloves had nine buttons, so when indicating that an event's attire was dressy, they'd say "dress to the nines."The term eventually grew to include well dressed men that were "dressed to the nines." We've adopted the phrase, freshened it up and expanded it to include anyone who is confident, fashion-conscious and strives to be exceptional in everything that they do. The number 9 is not yet the perfect ten, but is the closest to it. With The 9s Magazine as a constant companion, our reader is just that much closer to perfection as well.  And did you know that if any number is multiplied by nine the resulting digits always add to 9?  Not many people do know that, but by subscribing to The 9s, our reader is always informed and abreast of the latest tid-bits in information technology, business, wealth,management and more.
